Dr. Rüdiger Theiselmann is a German lawyer specialized in directors‘ duties. He frequently advises both executive board members and non-executive directors of German companies in the fields of corporate law when it comes to M&A transactions, equity or debt capital raisings, extraordinary write-offs or shareholder disputes.
Dr. Theiselmann brings to the table more than 20 years professional experience as well as deep legal expertise and interdisciplinary skills combined with an executive background. He started his professional career in 1995 in the media sector, followed by more than 10 years in the financial industry for large banks, inter alia as an executive assistant and investment banker. In 2013, he joined the management team of a German corporate law firm as an executive partner. Two years later, he established his own business development company, corporate law firm and legal tech company. In parallel, he frequently publishes articles and books and is a lecturer at European Business School. Dr. Theiselmann holds a PhD in IP law, an LL.M. in business law and a BA in banking.
