Gonzalo Fernández Secco is a founding partner of Fernández Secco & Asociados Firm based in Montevideo (Uruguay) specializing in Intellectual Property. In addition, he is an Industrial Property Agent, Public Accountant and Graduate in Administration at the Economics and Administration Faculty at the Uruguayan Republic University.
In his teaching he was assistant of the Chairs of Accounting II and Technical and Tax Legislation in the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the Uruguayan Republic University. He is member of The American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA),of the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA),The International Trademark Association (INTA), the Inter-American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriéte Intellectuelle (AIPPI), MARQUES and the Fédération Internationale Des Conseils en Propriété Intellectuelle (FICPI). He is also member of the Uruguayan Industrial Property Agents Association (AUDAPI), China Trademark Association (CTA) and observer at the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA).
